The Screw M4 .07 x 10 Button Head Socket Cap Screw SST is a cap screw that has a cylindrical head and internal wrenching features like hexagonal drive hole. It is somewhat similar to a round head, but flatter which offers a wider bearing surface and high tensile strength. It is a type of threaded fastener. The most important reason for choosing the socket head cap screws in the industry are safety, reliability and economy. It is used for the application with limited space. The button head cap screw is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains a minimum of nickel-chromium of around 10.5 percent. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness. By considering on all the properties, stainless steel is chosen to use for the socket head cap screw for this particular application.
